You can find Levi working on the truck day in and day out. With his passion for food and bachelors degree from Johnson & Wales University, Levi set out on a mission to open a unique culinary experience. Traveling to Portugal dozens of times has given Levi an extensive familiarity with the Portuguese culture and cuisine that he tries to incorporate into the PORTU-GALO experience everyday.
PORTU-GALO's mission is to serve fresh, quality Portuguese street food with a twist. Each and every morning the freshest meats are picked up from a local Providence Butcher shop. Freshly baked authentic breads are also picked up daily from a local Portuguese bakery. The marinades used are nothing more than fresh garlic, sea salt and a couple of other simple ingredients. Quality and simplicity is what Portuguese cuisine is all about.
